Safety and Security

The IKMF Syracuse 2026 Organizing Committee is fully committed to providing a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all athletes, coaches, officials, volunteers, and spectators attending the 2026 IKMF World Kettlebell Marathon Championships.

We recognize that international travel requires confidence and peace of mind. Our planning approach reflects internationally accepted event management standards and prioritizes safety at every stage of the championship experience, from arrival to departure.
Venue Security
The competition will take place at the Oncenter Convention Center, a professionally managed facility equipped with venue-wide security systems, controlled access points, and on-site security personnel.

During the event:

-
Security staff will be present throughout competition hours
-
Access to competition areas will be managed and clearly defined
-
Athlete, official, and spectator areas will be appropriately separated to ensure smooth and secure event flow
These measures are consistent with expectations for large-scale international sporting events and are designed to support both safety and operational efficiency.
City Safety & Accessibility
Syracuse is a compact, navigable city with a strong culture of hospitality. Official hotels, competition venues, and transportation routes have been selected with safety, convenience, and accessibility in mind.

We encourage all visitors to use official event recommendations for accommodations and transportation to ensure the most seamless and secure experience possible.
Our Commitment
From the moment you arrive in Syracuse until your departure, our goal is to provide an environment where you can focus on performance, recovery, and community—knowing that safety, organization, and support are in place throughout your stay.

We look forward to welcoming the global kettlebell community to Syracuse in 2026.
