The Oncenter Convention Center — Exhibit Hall A

Built for International Competition

Exhibit Hall A at the Oncenter Convention Center meets the operational and logistical requirements expected of an IKMF-sanctioned international championship venue. The space is designed to accommodate large-scale sporting events with clearly defined competition, warm-up, athlete flow, and spectator areas—supporting efficient event operations and fair, uninterrupted competition.

The hall provides a fully enclosed, climate-controlled environment, ensuring consistent temperature and air quality throughout all competition sessions. This controlled setting supports athlete safety, equipment reliability, and performance consistency in line with international best practices for indoor sport events.

Security, Safety, and Event Oversight

Athlete and spectator safety is a core priority of the Syracuse 2026 Organizing Committee. The Oncenter Convention Center is equipped with modern venue-wide security systems, controlled access points, and professional on-site security personnel throughout the duration of the event. These measures align with the expectations of international sporting federations hosting large, multi-day competitions.

Event operations will follow structured access protocols for athletes, officials, staff, and spectators to maintain secure and organized competition flow. Clear signage, staffed information points, and readily available event personnel will ensure accessible support at all times.

Athlete-Centered Experience

To support athletes and teams throughout competition days, the venue will include an on-site food court, providing convenient access to meals and refreshments without the need to leave the facility. This minimizes disruption to competition schedules and supports recovery, hydration, and overall athlete well-being.

Exhibit Hall A’s scale, infrastructure, and central location make it a venue well-suited to hosting a world-class kettlebell marathon championship, delivering the professionalism, safety, and comfort expected by IKMF, participating federations, and the global kettlebell community.
